Plate 69 General view of Tyre, Lebanon - After David Roberts

A depiction of the ancient city of Tyre on the Lebanese coast with the Mediterranean in the background. The drawings and watercolours from this tour of the Holy Land and Egypt by Roberts were collated together into folios and released over a seven year period (1842-1849) by the publisher F.G. Moon from 20 Threadneedle Street London. This lithograph is from the First Edition folio.
