Samuel Owen (1768-1857) - Figures on a beach at low-tide
This detailed coastal scene by Samuel Owen is typical of his work. There are various fisherfolk on the shore sorting through their catch. There is also a British Naval frigate in the distance on the left with the landscape being reminiscent of Owen's Kent scenes.
